History   My first dog, a cockerspaniel named Gisella, "Jisse", came to our family when I was 5 years old. For 13,5 years she was my best friend. We enjoyed running in the woods and playing games… which occationally took all the patience the dog had.   Two years after Jisse passed away, my parents got a miniature long dachshund named Mimmi. I was no longer living at home but I became familiar with the breed when Mimmi was visiting us.   My first golden, "Peppi" came to us in the beginning of 1991. Peppi had a great personality, royal dignity mixed with a sophisticated sense of humor. At first Peppi was planned to be just a 'family' dog but that changed when the breeder encouraged us to take different courses and participate in shows. There begun my dog-life and that continues...    I take my dogs to field trials and shows and I have also tried blood tracking. All my dogs has been used in hunting.    The idea of breeding came during the years and I got my prefix in the beginning of 2002 and the first litter was born in 2003.    My goal is to breed healthy Golden Retrievers with good temperament, not forgetting the breed standard.    In 1992 I took a course in dog obedience and I am now a Golden Ring trainer. I have also taught and helped people to train their dogs to the working test quite succesfully. I have also been vice-chairman in Turku Goldens (local association) several years. Back
